Josh Bucher is Vice President at Enceladus. He is primarily responsible for finding and evaluating investments, executing transactions, and managing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Enceladus, Josh worked in a variety of investment and advisory roles. As an investor, Josh has primarily focused on making majority equity investments in lower middle market businesses within the infrastructure services, business services, and value-added distribution verticals. Josh has executed 33 transactions, which include 7 platform investments, 24 add-on acquisitions, and 2 highly successful platform exits. Josh’s investments have achieved strong financial growth and delivered successful outcomes for all stakeholders. In an advisory capacity, Josh has helped companies raise equity & debt capital and advise buyers & sellers on M&A transactions.

Josh started his career in investment banking, with roles at Robert W. Baird in the Business & Industrial Services vertical and at Piper Jaffray in the Equity Capital Markets division. Most recently he was a Vice President at Warren Equity Partners, a middle-market private equity firm focused on businesses that maintain, operate, and upgrade North American infrastructure.

Josh earned his B.S. in Finance & Accounting from the University of Kansas, with a minor in Economics. Outside of work, you’ll find Josh trying adventurous new foods and cheering on Kansas basketball.
